A Taste of London
So much food to eat, so many places to choose from. When it comes to London, it is not just a question of what food to buy, but where to buy it. Discover the best market stalls, shops, and markets that can be found in the capital by going on a Foodies' Walking Tour. Your guide, Ann, will not only show you where to shop, but give you an interesting and informative history about all the different food.
Walks are £9 for adults and £7 for concessions, and free for accompanied children under 15. It doesn't matter what type of food makes you salivate, as they cover everything from meat and vegetables to cakes and sweets. There are four types of walks to choose from: The West End, Epicurean Gourmets', Foodies' London, Pie Crust to Upper Crust Afoot, Fooding & Feasting, and The Chocolate Lover's Walk. The first three are scheduled walks, which you just turn up to on the day, but the chocolate tour has to be made by private booking.
Examples of places you might visit include Chinatown, Borough Market, The Strand, Covent Garden, Harrods, and Harvey Nichols. Everyone will meet at the designated tube station exit, and each walk lasts about two hours.
