London's skyscrapers may not reach as high as the snowy Alps, but this winter, there might be just a touch of frost gathering on their peaks. That's because for the first time, EDF Energy is presenting
London Eye Frostival. Up until the 5th January, you can
book a thirty-minute guided tour inside frosted themed capsule. Tickets are £26.25 for all ages (under fours go free), and the experience will include sound effects, Christmassy scents, twinkling lights, and winter trivia about the city's landmarks. For something a bit more special, you could also ask for drinks such as champagne, cocktails, or mulled wine.
Below the London Eye, EDF have opened up their largest skate rink yet. Tickets start from £9.95, but if you book early, you could get up to a 35% discount, plus kids will go free.
Talking about free, it doesn't cost to look. Between 12pm-3pm until the 29th December, sculptors will be giving ice carving demonstrations at the weekends.
