Now in its tenth year, the London Design Festival is the most important of its kind in the world. It is made up of over three hundred events and exhibitions, and covers everything from the architectural, technological, and fashionable.
The Victoria and Albert Museum is just one of the organisations participating in the nine-day fest, but it has so much going on, you could spend your entire time at this venue alone.
From the 14th - 22nd September, participate in workshops, listen in on talks, and admire fascinating installations. Displays include St Mungo's Woodwork Project, a voice activated White Noise Machine, a Wind Portal made up of five thousand paper windmills, and many more.
We are presented with a list load of different fonts to choose from in Word documents and for PowerPoint presentations, and it is amazing the impact they can have on the reader. The meaning or interpretation of a word can be radically altered simply by the type face used. Find out more about the appearance of a word can change our attitude towards it.
