Improving the health of Londoners with the arts
The second annual London Creativity and Wellbeing Week takes place from 17 - 22 June 2013.

According to the London Creativity and Wellbeing website; "There is a growing body of evidence indicating the profound effect engagement in the arts and creativity can have on health and wellbeing. The arts bring us alive, nourish our curiosity, help us learn they change the places in which we are treated and make them places we might want to be, they can improve the relationship between clinician and patient, and they give us the courage to face our own frailties and strengths."

The week is filled with debates and discussions, performances and exhibitions, tours and practical sessions. There are plenty of opportunities to discover more, be inspired, make connections and actively explore the future of arts, creativity and wellbeing.

Witness the weekly concerts run by Breathe Arts at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital.

Tap Arts Project and Agency for Life LTD are delivering an afternoon of fun, creative, but purposeful resilience building designed to support GPs called 'Flourishing For GPs'.

Get in touch with your phyiscal and emotional self in 'Yoga with creative writing - Unblocking emotions' at the Network Theatre.

See a new play in development. This is the first taster event of a cycle of events showcasing the different partnerships being created as part of Anxiety - an arts and mental health festival for London 2014. Jim Pope's theatre company will bring a scratch performance to the dynamic day's schedule at Dragon Cafe.
