If you dig artisan homegrown brew perhaps the LDN Craft Beer Festival is for you.
The craft beer scene in London is huge and definitely on the up and up. 'Craft beer' can be described as being from small, independent and traditional breweries with 'Microbreweries' producing a limited amount of beer, keeping the quality of taste high. The dining houses and waterholes of the city with their ears to the ground, are more than likely, these days, to be stocked with local beer varieties aplenty.
The LCB Festival comes to the heart of East London at the stunning Oval Space, Bethnal Green; August 16th, 17th & 18th. Tickets are £35 which includes; entry, a free branded festival glass, 150ml sample from every brewer stand (totalling a reasonable 5 pints), an events programme including tasting notes and some live music throughout the hazy days. Strictly no under 18's allowed, so leave the kids at home.
