How do you arrive in London; shaken or stirred? I guess it depends on what transport you take, but when it comes to London Cocktail Week, you probably won't mind. Between the 7th-13th October 2013, you will be able to experience an unique celebration of the capital's 'unrivalled' cocktail culture. For one week Seven Dials, Covent Gardens will be a place to inspire, educate, and unite all cocktail lovers with a series of seminars, pop-up bars, tastings, parties, master-classes, and a special £10 cocktail tour. Travelling on a vintage London bus, you will be taken to the best cocktail bars in the area, with cocktails costing £4.
There will be endless free activities to keep you busy through the week, including a Whisky Show at the Vinopolis, a Cocktail Culture Hub, shaking seminars and workshops, and a Buffalo Trail which takes you on a five-step tasting journey.
You can also visit one of the many pop-up shops such as the Rum & Ice Cream Shack, which offers smooth Jamaican Rum with a scoop of Ice Cream Daiquiri.
Tickets for the events are mostly free, but need to be booked in advance, as they sell out quickly. With all these punchy drinks at hand, if you're still standing by the end of the week, then it probably means you weren't there.
