Tootling into town at the end of February is the London Classic Car Show.



Look at the vehicles on the road today and try not to yawn as you notice how similar they all seem. Then Google "classic cars" and marvel at the style, the individuality, the head-turning audacity of motors past.



To discover just how cool driving used to be (okay, forget about the noise, the uncomfortable seats, and the breakdowns for a moment), get yourself along to the London Classic Car Show at the ExCel Exhibition Centre from 23-26 February.

You'll find - as you'd expect - a vast array of classic motors on show, with special stage events and collections keeping even the most discerning car fans happy.



And be sure to check out a guaranteed crowd pleaser - an indoor driving runway where you can watch classic cars fired up and driven. "This is the only place to see, hear and smell these beautiful iconic classics in action, all under one roof," the organisers say on the event's website .

If classy cars from yesteryear get your exhaust smoking, then the London Classic Car Show is clearly a no-brainer.
