John, Paul, George and Ringo - names that reverberate around the world, especially in their home country of the UK. Everybody knows that the Fab Four hail from Liverpool, but London can also lay claim to some important locations of its own. The obvious example to start with would be the crossing near Abbey Road Studios, but you should also consider Marylebone Station and John Lennon's blue plaque at Montagu Square too. There is also something worthy of your attention, and in quite a surprising location too.



The Beatles Store in London is a true one of a kind. It is London's first and only Beatles shop and stocks an amazing range of merchandise, including original '60's memorabilia, so pretty much an essential for fans of the Beatles. From the standard (think t-shirts, vinyl, scarves), to the slightly more quirky (cookie jars, lava lamps, turntable slipmats), and for the true collectors (or people who know no limits to their wallet) autographs from the artists themselves.



Now, I did mention about the location, so let me tell you about that - the store is located to possibly one of the areas most famous landmarks, it is right next to none other than Sherlock Holmes house on Baker Street - whoever thought that the Beatles and Holmes himself would end up as next-door neighbours ...
