Have you ever wanted to take a picture of the perfect sunrise? Well that should be easy enough; every sunrise is perfect. What might not be so easy is to take the perfect picture of a sunrise. So many cameras to choose from; which is the best? So many settings; which one is right? If you fancy improving your photography skills and capturing some awe-inspiring scenes at the same time, then a London at Dawn workshop may be just the thing for you.

Get the lowdown on professional techniques, gain the confidence to shoot on manual settings, learn about daylight exposure, and build an awareness of your surroundings, and develop a nose for knowing when it's right moment to take a snap.

A two-day workshop costs £225. You will start an hour before sunrise and finish just before lunch. There are two routes to choose from:

Westminster to London Bridge

The class will begin with a shadowy scene of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament; you will then capture Westminster Abbey, stroll through St. James Park, and continue on to Waterloo, Bankside, and finally the bustling Borough Market by London Bridge.

Tower Pier to Columbia Road Flower Market

This walk is all about history and character. Take a picture of Tower Bridge as the run rises, then move on through plague pits, synagogues, and iconic London homes. You'll see examples of Georgian shopfronts, climb rooftops, and pass through busy markets such as Spitafield, Petticoat Lane, Brick Lane, and finally arriving at the flower market.

The workshops take place on the following weekends: 20th & 21st July, 27th & 28th July, 31st August & 1st September, and 7th & 8th September.
