The best place for anime and gaming fans to get together is the London Anime Convention, which is being held at the Rocket Complex on Saturday 9th to Sunday10th February 2013.
There are dozens of activities to get involved in, including cosplay, voice acting and drawing workshops, gaming tournaments, quizzes, parties, talent shows, and auctions.
There will also be special guests like MasakoX, who is the voice of many a
Dragon Ball Z character like Goku and Gohan. He is also the creator of the abridged
Naruto series.
DJs and live music artists will also be there to provide weekend long entertainment. For example,
Colors are the UK's premier J-rock band. Originally from Japan they will be showcasing their new style of punk rock songs, which are blended with eastern melodies.
There are numerous ticket options. The event lasts until midnight and you can get in at 6pm for just £5. If that's not enough time to get everything done (because there is a helluva lot), midday entry is £20. If you
pre-register you can get 20% off, 11am early entry, and a free conbook. The convention is for 18 plus only.
