A sweet tooth can sometimes be cured with a piece of chocolate. For those after something a little more decadent, why not try your hand at the renowned Lola's Cupcakes? One such enticing store is located in Selfridges on London's busy Oxford Street district.
Housing a sugar showcase of their best cupcakes, it is hard to simply pass this kiosk by. The aromatic fragrance of fresh buttercream is too enticing.
Lola's Cupcakes range from the traditional favourites of Red Velvet,Vanilla and Strawberry, to the more contemporary Cookies & Cream and Rocky Road.
I unknowingly crossed paths with Lola's at Selfridges when a work friend and I headed over for a quick lunch break, picking up some treats for the girls back in the office. Within 30 minutes we were all later enjoying our various selection.
Lola's stocks both standard size and miniature cupcakes (less guilt and half the price) so you have the choice of mixing things up.
Established in 2007 from a common start up location, the home front, two friends; Romy and Victoria, began taking orders in their rooms, whilst producing delicious cupcakes in their parents' kitchen.
Since these humble beginnings Lola's has grown into a thriving business with concessions in not only Selfridges, but Harrods and Topshop along with their flagship store in Mayfair.
Cure your sweet tooth with Lola's Cupcakes.
