is a lovely place to relax at any time of year. Even though it only overlooks the rolling brown waters of the Mersey, there's something incredibly relaxing and romantic about the whole area. They have a fantastic bar which serves really decent pub food from breakfast through to dinner, they have a shower facility for all the salty sea dogs that decide to dock there, and they have a function facility for those who want to party near the sea!



They have about 40 boats permanently docked here, from 20 foot Westerly Centaurs through to 40 foot super yachts. There is a really relaxed atmosphere both in the marina bar and as you walk amongst the boats, everybody seems pleasant and happy, which is fairly hard to find so close to a stressed out city. I'd recommend this place for a lazy Sunday afternoon or for a nice relaxing pint after work! Also, it's the only place close to the city centre that you can dock a sailing boat if you have one!

If you're a tourist visiting the city, the Marina bar and grill is perfect because it's away from the hustle and bustle of the busy, 'Albert Dock' area...without being too far from the city centre.
