The Lichfield Garrick theatre promises something for everyone as it launches its exciting new summer and autumn season.

The programme is complete with famous faces, drama, music, dance, comedy and children's entertainment.

Running from now until December, the new season boasts an impressive array of shows and events to suit all tastes and ages.

Tribute acts including Whitney - Queen of the Night, Wings over Abbey Road, The Bon Jovi Experience, Night on Broadway - The Bee Gees Story, and A Vision of Elvis, promise to entertain the crowds.

There is also chilling drama in the form of Postcards from the Seaside, Brummegem Pals, The Hound of Baskervilles and Oh, Whistle.

But there is also plenty to entertain children too with The Octonauts live on stage and Sing-a-Long Frozen, while young audiences will also love Pongo's Party, Animal Alphabet and Ministry of Science Live.

The Lichfield Garrick will also be presenting a series of live cookery demonstrations on the main stage over two days in August.

And in December Lichfield's favourite Dame, Ian Adams, returns with the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. With singing and dancing, stunning costumes and scenery, live music and plenty of audience participation, Jack in the Beanstalk promises to be a festive treat for all the family.

The Garrick, which first opened in 2003, plays host to the best and widest range of musical theatre, drama, comedy, music and family entertainment in the cathedral city of Lichfield. It is home to more than 400 performances each year in its two theatre spaces, the 562 capacity main auditorium and the 157 seat Studio.
