Get inspiration for Christmas gifts at the Inspire fair
It's that time of year again, when all the Christmas markets start appearing. They are perfect for festive trips, getting some unique gifts and getting you in the holiday spirit. With so many taking place around Manchester, it can be hard to find the right one.
The Levenshulme Inspire Christmas Fair is one for your diaries. Taking place on Saturday 2nd December, it is perfect for starting your Christmas shopping and getting some presents at the start of the month.
Why wait until Christmas Eve, when you have to brave the crowds and panic buy gifts that you don't think are right! This is the perfect event to stock up on special gifts which your loved ones will adore. Why not take along the whole family to this family-friendly event!
Taking place from 12pm-5pm, there is plenty of time to visit and browse the stalls. There will be everything from amazing Christmas gifts to food stalls selling delicious festive treats. The onsite cafe will also be open serving food, so there will be plenty of delicious snacks on offer during the event. Why not shop and have lunch making it a real weekend treat.
The event is set to be a fun-filled afternoon with a huge Christmas raffle taking place, a performance from Levy Uke-Up and lots of independent sellers offering unique gifts and even henna painting taking place. A selection of what will be on sale is handmade crystal jewellery, cards and cakes along with Mexican style gifts. The Levenshulme Women's Group is one of the stallholders at the event, meaning you can support great causes whilst shopping for presents. If you want to see Santa make sure you are there between 3pm-5pm as he may be making a special appearance which children will love!
Levenshulme Inspire is a community-led service and registered charity. The aim of the centre is to promote wellbeing amongst residents of the area by offering education, leisure and supportive services. Coming along to this market supports a great cause with the added benefit that it is away from the busy city centre crowds.
