It's Strictly Come Dancing, But With Darts

On your darts, get steady, throw!

On the 3rd & 4th September, Lakeside Country Club will see the world's best professional dart players and the nation's best loved celebrities take each other on in a hilarious darts tournament. Let's Play Darts for Comic Relief was commissioned by BBC 2 to be the first in a long line up of entertainment for Red Nose Day 2015.

Host be sports presenter, Gabby Logan, comedians and celebrities will pit themselves against professional players in a darts tournament. But this isn't just any darts tournament. This is a Comic Relief darts tournament, which means they'll each be adopting their own darts persona, complete with nickname, costume, props, and walk on theme music.

The tournament will be televised next year on Red Nose Day, but why wait? It is much more entertaining to see it live. Tickets to the event are £16 (standard) and £26 (premium) on Saturday, while on Sunday tickets will be £21 (standard) and £31 (premium).

Celebrities taking part include Lee Mack, Bob Mortimer, Sean Lock, Tim Vine, Roisin Conaty, and Richard Osman, but it won't be easy as they are up against seasoned players such as Martin 'Wolfie' Adams, Bobby George, Andy Fordham, Ted 'The Count' Hankey, Deta 'The Dark Destroyer' Hedman, Anastasia Dobromyslova, Darryl 'The Dazzler' Fitton, and Richie George.

Guests are encouraged to come in fancy dress, and there will be a prize for the best costume.
