When the tennis ends on the 6th July, you may think Wimbledon's all over for another year. Think again. One week later the balls will start flying once again, because Legends Rugby Festival is coming to town. On the 12th July get ready for a day full of family entertainment at Wimbledon Rugby Football Club. Starting from 9am there will be tournaments, music, games, and more.
Over half of the AVIVA Premiership's teams signed up to enter, including the London Scottish, and the Saracens, who have returned to defend their 2013 champions title. Off the pitch, the teams won't just disappear into the changing rooms never to be seen again, join them for a pint in the beer tent, or gnash on tasty nosh.
If you love playing rugby as much as you do watching it, then don't forget to bring your kit. There will be matches for every age and ability, including a UK Veterans Tournament, Women's Tournament, Mini's Rugby, and Family Tag Rugby.
Down at the Legends Rugby Village, you can let the kids play in the interactive fun zone while you enter a fancy dress competition, perform karaoke, and party to live music.
Tickets to the festival are £20 for adults, £15 for students, and £10 for children.
