For my professional practice check

Feel good about your hair and your purse
Following on from my earlier article here on WN about 'Salon Guineapig', I've been getting regular updates from them on Facebook about various beauty treatments. And, since I wanted to get another haircut, I was looking for something through them-something that suited my pocket and was not too far from home. I chanced upon the Lee Stafford academy in Croydon where I went a few days ago and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
Lee Stafford the award-winning hairstylist owns this academy where young people are given professional training in hair dressing and other beauty treatments. This one is run in partnership with Croydon college.
I liked the atmosphere from the moment 'go'. What struck me was the high energy and motivation levels of both staff and students. They seemed to be happy, comfortable with each other, friendly and eager to learn. Annisa my hair dresser had a manual which she meticulously followed as she meandered her way through my hair- occasionally asking her teacher for advice.
I was also impressed with the patience and dedication of the teacher - who stayed back after the others had left for the day- until both pupil and customer had pronounced satisfaction at the job. She stepped in to do some finishing touches too. Having read a little more about Lee Stafford, I can see that it is his driving passion to foster a culture of loyal, talented, enthsiastic hair dressing professionals.
Lee Stafford- the man behind it all
It cost me 8 quid, which as fellow Londoners would attest is a song! I was not just satisfied, I was really pleased with the outcome and am planning to go back there to get some highlighting done too at such comparable prices.
