'Britain's Greatest Hoaxer' back on stage as top comic
Comedy star Lee Nelson will be bringing his latest stand-up show to laughter seekers in Staffordshire when he performs at the Lichfield Garrick theatre on October 12 as part of his nationwide Serious Joker tour. Lee, the star of hit shows Well Good Show and Well Funny People, has already enjoyed five sell out tours to date, as well as a host of appearances on popular television comedy show Live at the Apollo, making him one of the biggest stand up stars in the country.
Lee, who is currently embarking on his 150 date Serious Joker tour, is the creation of Simon Brodkin who, along with also appearing as football superstar Jason Bent and dodgy medical practitioner Dr Bob, is renowned as a prankster on his Channel 4 documentary Britain's Greatest Hoaxer. His targets to date have ranged from Donald Trump, Philip Green and Sepp Blatter to Britain's Got Talent, Kanye West, Manchester City, and, most recently, Prime Minister Theresa May. Lee Nelson will be at the Lichfield Garrick theatre on Friday 12 October from 7.30pm. Tickets priced £20 are available by visiting www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121.
