Lavender Leonardos Half Term Children's Workshops

With over twenty-five years experience, Izzy Moreau is a well known artist and teacher. She does workshops for both adults and children, and during the half term holiday she will be running three-hour sessions for kids at her Lavender Leonardos studio in Battersea.

Suitable for children six and over, the classes run from the 14th February - 1st March, 9.30am-12.30pm, and costs £35 each. In the morning, children will do painting and drawing, and then after a break, move on to 3D work such as paper mache, sculpting, and sewing.

As well as having fun, and learning new skills, Izzy is keen to teach children about the history of art as well. She might get them to study an 'armchair from Matisse, a figure from Gaugin, a guitar from Picasso', and then create their own work based on that.

Izzy also runs courses during term time for £25 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4pm-5.30pm, or 10am-12pm on Saturdays.
