Las Iguanas in Kingston is a great place for a taste of Latin American food and atmosphere. The décor, music and menu of this restaurant all adhere to this wonderful theme, giving the place real energy and zest. The restaurant itself is spacious, modern and full of life and colour, making it a great place for parties and gatherings with friends. They also have a fiesta party menu for these occasions which is pretty good value. Plus if you've been to any of the Las Iguanas restaurants before, rest assured they are not all the same, as each one in the chain is totally unique.

I would recommend going during 'tapas time' from 7pm every day, or all day Sunday and Monday, as this is when you can get three dishes of tapas for £15.80 or five for £23.00. Don't bother going outside of these times as I found that the original prices were stupidly expensive.

Ever the happy hour hunter, I discovered that Las Iguanas is no exception. The happy hours extend from 12-7.30pm and all day Sunday and include cocktails and coolers as well as two for one on pitchers.

Las Iguanas has a rather extensive food menu as well as drinks; there are various styles of cooking including Mexican, Brazilian, Spanish, Barbacoa and more. There is also a good selection of vegetarian options available, but only if you're a mushroom fan.

It appears that the best day to visit Las Iguanas is a Sunday, as this is when it is 'tapas time' all day and happy hour all day. It is, in my opinion, rather expensive if visited on the normal days or outside of these deals time slots. I recommend going with those who are willing to try something a little different, and are not afraid of a little Latin American spice!
