A taste of the med in Hyde Park
On a snowy afternoon in Leeds, you really start to long for the sunshine and a Mediterranean holiday. If this is the case, head to La Cafetiere in Hyde Park, where you can instantly hide away from the cold.
La Cafetiere itself is very spacious, and if you sit far enough away from the window, it feels as though you are worlds away from the bustle of Leeds. Van Gogh paintings line the walls, with a hand-painted astrological chart on the ceiling. It is this which makes you feel incredibly at home, and extremely relaxed.
Other lunch options include koftas, jacket potatoes, salads, roast chicken and humous, while a very delicious panini costs £4.90. All food tastes very authentic, and makes a change from the humdrum sandwiches often found in other cafes.
