It is almost a year since Laura set up
Kiss n Makeup Boutique in Church Street Twickenham. She is a therapist who trained in Beauty Therapy and Make Up at the London College of Fashion and decided to open her own business a few years after returning from California. She's fallen so deeply in love with Twickenham that she now lives there too.

Outside Kiss n Makeup Boutique
The boutique's specialities include waxing, manicures, facials, lash and brow tinting and lash extensions. You can also book in for a special occasion, or a bridal make up session lasting 40 minutes, or an express version for half that time. You can even come along for a pamper or a hen party with friends; so much more civilised and girly than a drunken weekend in an Eastern European city.

Manicure
Products used are Jan Marini, Jane Iredale, Hempz and Naked Cosmetics. Laura believes that cosmetics should enhance and not mask a face, so don't expect to walk out of Kiss n Makeup with anything more than a natural look. There are also treatments for men, special offers are available, and vouchers can be purchased on their website.

A Treatment Room, or Should that Be Boudoir?
Kiss n Makeup Boutique also offers a slightly more boutiquey experience, as its name implies. You'll come across ironically raunchy wallpapers, and treatment rooms that are more like boudoirs. And of course you'll have to make friends with Monty, the Labradoodle.
