Children's favourite Kipper comes to the stage this Christmas with the musical
Kipper's Snowy Day at Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham.

Kipper's Snow Day
Based on the award-winning books by author and illustrator Mick Inkpen, the show is aimed at children aged three and above. Using puppetry and songs to bring the adventures of this lovable hound to life, the show tells the story of a winter's day on which Kipper and his friends Tiger and Arnold head out to enjoy the snow but when a storm strikes the friends become separated.
The production is created by Slot Machine Theatre whose co-artistic director Nick Tigg says: "
Kipper is such a well-loved character, we wanted to be really faithful to the books, particularly as this is the first of Mick's Kipper books ever to be adapted for the stage. And we're very proud that Mick loves the show!"

Using puppets to bring the story alive
Visitors to the Cannon Hill arts centre can also see a Kipper art work in the Arena Gallery, where artist Jessica Hartshorn has created a winter wonderland to coincide with the show. Families are being encouraged to take a selfie with the artwork during their visit.
And on Saturday 7 December, mac holds a special Pyjama Gala of Kipper's Snowy Day. Children and adults are invited to wear their favourite pyjamas for the 6pm performance of the show.
