Kingston is one of England's most historic towns, full of haunting stories about murderous highwaymen, and tragedies about the 'most famous dog in the world'.

To explore the town and learn about its fascinating history, you can join a guided tour for £3. They have summer walks every Sunday from 1st April to the end of September, and winter walks every Sunday from the 1st of October to the end of March. The walks last about one and half hours.

Find out why Saxon kings were crowned in Kingston or what the Normans discovered in the Thames in 1086. There is also lots of information on famous characters related to the town, such as Enid Blyton, Charlie Chaplin, and Edweard Muybridge.

To take part, all you have to do is turn up at the Church Gates in the Ancient Market Place at 2.30pm.
