I love going to Kingston's Christmas market; the small wooden huts brings out a childish excitement in me and gets me in the mood for the big day. I usually don't buy anything, but yesterday I came across a place doing speciality cheeses.
The woman gave me a taster of several of her flavours, which included toffee, mince pies, strawberry & champagne, and curry. If you were doing a blind taste test you would have not guessed it was cheese, but each one was delicious. They were £3.95 each or 3 for £11. I was going to get 3, when she said that there was also the option to get 4 for £15, and that came with a membership card to The Cheshire Cheese Company. Although I doubted I'd buy from their website, I was taken in, and got all four.
If you are looking for some festive food to put in a hamper or serve on Christmas day, then you can't do better than Kingston's Christmas Market.
