Free children's theatre ticket during Kid's Week

Here is something worth knowing about. If you organise to be in London during August for Kids Week then you can take advantage of the KIDS GO FREE to over 35 top theatrical shows. While it is called Kids Week, the offer goes through all of August.

The incredible line up includes Billy Elliott the Musical, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Disney's Lion King, War Horse, Mama Mia, I believe in Unicorns, and Jersey Boys.

This is great for children but also younger teens interested in the theatre as well. As any child aged 16 or under can see any of the shows for FREE when accompanied by a full paying adult.

For larger families all is not lost. Two additional children can go at half price (per transaction).

Individual shows also put on a wonderful range of extra activities such as a backstage tour at the Mousetrap, learning the charleston and directing workshops. You can book these with your show but some of these activities can book out quickly. Book here with no fees involved.

For tourists or out of towners, a family friendly place to stay is the Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments. This is a 164-room five-star property in Mayfair – opposite Royal Green Park, Buckingham Palace.

There are lots of things here particularly for children and they are on the house such as child-sized bathrobes and slippers, DVDs, popcorn, soft drinks, milk and cookies at bedtime, age and appropriate books, toys and games, including Wii, Play Station, Xbox will be ready in your rooms.

The game consoles will be in the rooms so if you don't want these I suggest you mentions this when booking.

The concierge also specialises in helping families to organise child friendly activities including family bike ride in the park, frisbee games and other outings.

This is a great opportunity to give children a chance to visit the London Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now so don't dally. Visit www.kidsweek.co.uk for a full line-up of shows and activities on offer. Or call Kids Week 24 hour booking hotline on 0844 248 5151.
