Just when you thought we were done with Christmas, Lyndhurst Drama and Musical Society are putting on a fun family show set during the festive season. Kidnapped at Christmas will be on at the Vernon Theatre in Lyndhurst on Saturday February 3rd and Sunday February 4th with an evening performance on the Saturday night and matinee performances on both days.
It's Christmastime and Gilbert and Crosby are two not-so-successful criminals who are going to be spending the festive season behind bars. So when the two inmates see a chance to escape they jump at the opportunity - nobody wants to spend a Christmas in jail. Kidnapped at Christmas has plenty of silliness and some funny disguises. It promises lots of laughs as Gilbert and Crosby try to avoid being recaptured. Unfortunately for them things get a bit tricker when end up part of a kidnapping plot and locked in a dark dungeon.
The play is designed for families and young children, with plenty of laughs for the little ones and some thrown in for parents too. Kidnapped at Christmas is recommended for children 4 years and older.
Kidnapped at Christmas is a play by Willis Hall and is directed by Louise Dibden.
