This magnificent 18th century hall is situated in several hundred acres of vibrant Derbyshire countryside. The hall is the ancestral home of the Curzon family, since the 12th century, who still live in a section of the hall.



The interior of the hall was designed for entertaining large groups of the aristocracy. All the paintings, sculptures, opulent architecture, and travel curiosities are on display to impress and captivate guests. The hall also contains an intriguing Eastern Museum dedicated to Lord Curzon's collection from his travels across Asia.



The interior of the hall is stunning, as is expected from a grand country manor, but the parkland is the most enjoyable aspect of the estate. Roam at your leisure through bright green countryside, a river with man-made waterfalls, and sheep pastures.







Kedleston Hall is in the southern Peak District, only a few hours from London, and is great for a day trip out of the city.
