Writer, editor, photographer, director and movie special effects creator Julian Doyle is most famous for his work on the Monty Python films and Terry Gilliam's Brazil and Time Bandits. He has also directed music videos for Kate Bush and Iron Maiden and written a play called Twilight of the Gods, about the philosopher Friedrich Nietsche and the composer Wagner. His movie Chemical Wedding is now a cult classic. His book Crucifixion's a Doddle: The Passion of Monty Python is about his findings when researching the crucifixion scene in Monty' Python's Life of Brian, which led him to the astonishing possibility that Pontius Pilate may not have actually had Jesus crucified. It was published in November 2016.
