Julian Doyle: 'Crucifixion's a Doddle' - The Merseyside Skeptics Society

Writer, editor, photographer, director and movie special effects creator Julian Doyle is most famous for his work on the
Monty Python films and Terry Gilliam's
Brazil and
Time Bandits. He has also directed music videos for Kate Bush and Iron Maiden and written a play called
Twilight of the Gods, about the philosopher Friedrich Nietsche and the composer Wagner. His movie
Chemical Wedding is now a cult classic. His book
Crucifixion's a Doddle: The Passion of Monty Python is about his findings when researching the crucifixion scene in Monty' Python's
Life of Brian, which led him to the astonishing possibility that Pontius Pilate may not have actually had Jesus crucified. It was published in November 2016.
Julian Doyle will be appearing at The Vines in Liverpool on March 16 at 19:30. Come and see him and hear more about his incredibly diverse, fascinating career.
The event is free but as the premises are licensed, all audience members must be over the age of 16.
