Imbalance explores our relationship with technology. In our modern world it seems like we're always connected to our phones. We're checking our screens during dinner, at bed time, on car journeys, in meetings, and even when we're in the middle of conversations. Imbalance looks at our obsession with and dependance on technology, and asks if there's a way we can ever truly log out. The fresh and modern production is a combination of dance, acrobatics and even some circus techniques, for a fast-paced production that tells its story through powerful physical movements.
Joli Vyann was formed in 2012 by its current artistic directors, Olivia Quayle and Jan Patzke. They have won many awards and toured a number of shows in the UK. Imbalance is a collaboration between Quale and Patzke, and choreographer Jonathan Lunn.
