An artist makes a career out of making art. They earn a living by taking commissions and building up clients. But what does an artist do in their spare time? What kinds of things do they create when there is no brief, and they are free to experiment?

Jerwood Space's latest exhibition, Jerwood Encounters: After Hours, focusses on the personal projects of graphic designers; The gallery is free to visit, and you can see the exhibit until the 23rd June and will be with a variety of artists being showcased. It is the opportunity to see a wide range of different media and themes. Most of these works were never intended for public viewing, which means you will be getting exclusive insight into the creative minds of artists such as David Azurdia, Robert Ball, Anthony Burrill, Jamie Ellul, and many more.
