Journey back to a time when jazz was cool, beanik's danced the night away, and people had style. You're heading to the era of 1950s-1960s America. On the 4th September, head over to Ryan's Bar in Camden Town, and meet up with the Jazz Department . Experience classic jazz, Latin vibes, mambo grooves, and lounge tunes from Jennifer Jackson's DJ collection. The doors open at 8pm, and you will get to hear music from the greats, including Jimmy Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Jon Hendricks, Nina Simone, and Frank Sinatra.

The dress code is anything from beatnik to mod, vintage to retro, glamorous to cool. You can even use films as your inspiration. Standard tickets are £5 at the door, but if you arrive after 11pm, then it goes down to £2.

Ten days later on the 14th September, go back another decade, where you can #contact ">Jump, Jive & Shout to the swinging rhythms of the 1940s and Kennedy's Bar in Camden Town. Jennifer will be playing blues, boogie woogie, doo wop, and more. Listen to the musicians who paved the way to rock n' roll: Louis Jordan, Little Richard, Big Joe Turner, Ruth Brown, The Chords and many more. There will also be live performances from London based singers.

The dress code will cover smart to hepcat, Mad Men to Pan Am. Tickets are £5 or £3 concessions, and the parts lasts from 8pm-12.30am.
