Jam Café describes itself as a European-style café bar; I would describe it differently. With the sort of décor that bridges the gap between a traditional style café and a bohemian lounge bar, Jam Café creates a style that is wholly its own, while retaining an element of quintessential Britishness.

While many bars open as a café during the day and as a bar in the evening, labelling Jam Café as a jack of all trades and master of none would be way off the mark. The food available at Jam Café is simply next-level – excellent breakfasts, snack foods and delicious pizzas ensure there's something for everyone at any time of day – while the impressively comprehensive selection of drinks available in the evening ensures that Jam Café is never found wanting in either department.

Cafés serving bog standard beers and spirits in the evening and bars going through the motions as a café in the day, take note: this is how it's done properly.

Music fans will get the most out of Jam Café. Those venturing in of an evening can expect to hear an eclectic mix of motown classics, leftfield indie pop and fuzz-infused rock music on the sound system. That pint of Staropramen in your hand will taste all the better when it's accompanied by such an outstanding soundtrack.

The establishment is also a committed live music venue, check out Jam Café's Facebook page for further details of what's on soon.
