Fe-Fi-Fo Fun at Fairfield Halls
Europe's tallest man, an EastEnders fairy and a break-dancing cow all play their part in the Fairfield Halls Christmas panto, Jack and the Beanstalk.
Laila Morse, best known as Mo Harris from EastEnders, weaves her special brand of magic as the fairy. CBeebies presenter, Sid Sloane, is have-a-go hero Jack, taking on the fearsome giant, in the form of Neil Fingleton, who stands a whopping 7 foot 7.5 inches tall.
Gemma Sutton, fresh from the West End show Legally Blonde, plays the lovely princess, but the most lavish costume changes are reserved for Quinn Patrick, dressed to impress as Dame Trott.
Comedian Herbie Adams provides the laughs as Jack's brother Billy, and Jay Worthy gets the hisses and boos as the giant's evil henchman Fleshcreep.
The pantomime runs from Friday 7 December to Sunday 6 January 2013 at the Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield Halls, Croydon. Tickets for performances from Friday 7 to Friday 14 December are available at a special offer price of £16.50.
All other performances are priced £27.50, £24 & £19.50 for adults, and £23.50, £20.50, £19.50 for children and senior citizens. A family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) is priced £85. Concessions are available for groups and schools.
