It's never too early to start thinking of Christmas. And so people in Staffordshire are already being urged to get into the festive spirit by booking a traditional Christmas matinee experience. Tamworth Assembly Rooms is opening its doors for a brand new season of festive entertainment which will be taking place on selective magical afternoons from the end of November at the Tamworth theatre. Audiences will be able to enjoy Revival Live UK present their new Christmas variety extravaganza this winter. The recently re-opened Assembly Rooms will be transformed into a festive and merry setting on November 28 and 30, plus December 3 and 5. People of all ages are invited to sing along to popular classic tunes including 'Let It Snow', 'Jingle Bells', 'Baby It's Cold Outside', 'Sleigh Ride', 'Winter Wonderland', 'White Christmas', and 'Jingle Bell Rock'.



Performers will delight audiences with spectacular choreography and an array of dazzling costumes changes. The shows will feature a talented cast of singers and dancers, with the highly acclaimed singer and musician Andy Eastwood, along with Revival Live UK resident comedian, Gary T Thomson. Guests will be invited to take part in a Christmas quiz and enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch, guaranteed to get everyone feeling full of festive cheer. Katie Ashby, Director of Revival Live UK, who is also the lead singer of The D-Day Darlings, said: "I'm delighted to be bringing this brand new and exciting daytime show programme to the glorious Tamworth Assembly Rooms. This theatrical experience is just the ticket for those wanting to watch an amazing show, have a delicious lunch and have an all-round fabulous day out." Adey Ramsel, Theatre, Artistic and Events Manager at the Assembly Rooms, said: "We are all looking forward to the long-awaited festive celebrations and what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with a proper afternoon of singing, dancing and laughter."
