The International Arts Youth Festival returns for its sixth year in Kingston-Upon-Thames. Celebrating young talent from across Europe, the three-week event runs from the 5th - 27th July, and is jam packed with performances from every field of the arts. For big enthusiasts, you can order a festival pass for £95 adult or £55 concessions. This will allow you entry to every single production as well as a Festival Club Membership. If you would just like to see a few things, however, you can also book individual
tickets that range from £4-£15. There are plenty of free events to enjoy as well.

Orwell's dystopian novel is performed by the Rose Youth Theatre.

Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is performed by the Searchlight Theatre Company.

'The Last Waltz' was the final concert by The Ban held on Thanksgiving in 1976. They were joined on stage by Paul Butterfield, Bob Dylan, and many other stars. Tankus the Henge hopes to recreate that special moment.

Market Place becomes a set piece for a physical dance performance that includes circus skills. parkour. and song.
Ponniyin Selvan

Based on a famous novel,
Ponniyin Selvan tells the story of the love of a Tamil Prince in the eleventh century.
Watching Watching the World Go By

Featuring bag ladies, runaway brides, and university students, a woman watches as the world goes by.

Art Walk
6th - 27th July
Artists paint the town red (and lots of other colours) with graffiti, live art, and installations. Explore Kingston and see what you can find.
A Worldly Picture of Poetry and Paint
20th July
Artists all over the world will perform poetry, songs, and dances initiated by audience members with buzzers. A giant globe will b painted as each country is ticked off. The audience will be encourage to join in a painting extravaganza.
Busker's Perches
11th - 27th July
Extra busking slots will be placed around the town for more performances.
Carnival
13th July
A parade featuring drummers, dancers, puppets, and performers celebrates everything Brazil.
K Games
12th July
Extreme sports competition for skate, BMX, inline, and scooter disciplines. There will be live music, DJs, circus workshops, and a graffiti showcase.
Maliha's Art
11th July
Maliha will explore a different cultures in an exhibition of her work.
