As part of their limited edition Winter/Early Spring Menu, Imm Thai Fusion is offering Red Pumpkin Curry. There is the option between a filling of chicken, beef, prawn, duck, or vegetables and tofu. I chose the duck as it is something I only have when at a restaurant.
The red curry base was warming and slightly sweet. The pumpkin tasted nice, but I found the chunks a bit too big for the dish and thought they could have been chopped more finely. The duck was not quite as satisfying as their other duck dishes, probably because of the way it was cooked. It was a bit too chewy.
Previously Imm Thai Fusion's Curries have been placed under a candle to keep them hot, but that was not done this time, and meant the curry was a bit luke warm. So while the flavours were nice, I think there could have been some improvement on the textures of this dish.
