Is there anything more in line with the Christmas spirit than Ice Skating. This is one extremely enjoyable way to embrace the cold weather in Manchester. Wrap up warm, get your skates on and visit the popular Manchester Ice Rinks for a perfect winter activity.

This year, there are two locations to enjoy the ice skating fun. The first is Cathedral Gardens where there is a glittery ice rink to enjoy. The second location is a brand new Manchester Ice Rink near Deansgate Locks. Both locations are in the city centre so it is a perfect activity when you are visiting central Manchester.

Cathedral Gardens Ice Rink

The Ice Rink in Cathedral Gardens is only five minutes from Victoria Train Station making it a perfect place for visitors to the city. Beginners are welcome as staff are able to help you as you step onto the ice and attempt to glide. This is the perfect family friendly activity over the holidays. Why not do something different and take a break from the bustling Christmas shopping crowds. The Ice Rink at Cathedral Gardens is open from 4th November 2017 to 7th January 2018 so there is plenty of time to visit over Christmas and New Year. It can be hard to find winter activities but this one is fun for all the family, you can test your skills and have fun doing something different.
