If Japanese Kitsch is your thing, then get yourself down to Earls Court to the Hyper Japan exhibition which is running until Sunday 25 November. There's something for everyone, with stacks of stalls selling Japanese classics such as Hello Kitty, Manga comics, Anime and Otaku. You can take a crash course in sake making and tasting, try out a kimono or dabble in a range of video games.

Do take the time to sample the delights of Japanese food and drink – well known names such as Feng Sushi and Yakult are there along with some lovely stalls cooking fresh noodle or rice based food. I recommend the Okonomiyaki, a delicious savoury pancake, washed down with a Japanese beer such as Kirin Ichiban. There's also a Christmas market so you can start your shopping early.

Advance tickets for Saturday are now sold out. Advance tickets for Sunday are still available at the moment. Tickets for Saturday are still available on the door, so please make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets
Online £12 (£15 on the door)
Late afternoon tickets £6 online (£10 on the door) – valid for entry between 1600 and 2000 Saturday and 1500 and 1700 Sunday.
Children 10 and under go free
