London's Hyde Park (right next to Buckingham Palace) is spacious and inviting. It is situated in a convenient locale right near Harrods at Knightsbridge, and is only around a 10-minute walk from the Knightsbridge tube station.

It is not the best park to go to on a wet day but Hyde Park is beautiful when the weather is reasonable and not overly windy despite being surrounded by 350 acres of natural land. It really gives Sydney's Hyde Park a good run for its money, that is for sure. With an abundance of space, this park exudes the London and royal charm and energy. Events such as Winter Wonderland outdoor ice skating are held here.

Great to head to alone or with a group of people. Picnics are rare, although Hyde Park is a great picnic go to destination once in a while, especially as some of the coffee nearby isn't too crash hot. This park attracts many birds in the one place in cooler weather. If you are in the mood to walk, then Hyde Park is your sanctuary.
