If you find yourself in the Hyde Park area, make a trip to the namesake pub. My friends and I were house-hunting in the area and chose to stop there for something to eat.

I chose a wonderfully ample chicken club sandwich, while my friends, respectively, had steak and ale pie, a festive turkey club (a seasonal special for December) and the all-day breakfasts.

Everybody was incredibly satisfied with their food, and where rustic 'pub-grub' is concerned, this is certainly the best I have come across in Leeds. The service we received was brilliant, and the staff were helpful and accommodating.

My club sandwich was easily the best I've ever eaten, and the all-day breakfasts, both standard and vegetarian, were well-cooked and met with much praise from my friends.

For affordable and great-tasting food to enjoy with a group, either for lunch or an evening meal, Hyde Park pub is worth a visit.
