Love hummus? Ever wanted to just sit down and devour a giant bowl of it? If you answered yes to both these questions, Hummus Bros is likely to be your dream come true.

Opening up shop on Wardour Street in August 2005, Hummus Bros serves up massive portions of hummus, pure and simple.

Their ambition is simple but ingenious; to serve up mounds of daily-fresh tasty hummus by the bucket load.

Hummus is served in a bowl with pita bread or alternatively you can substitute the bread for rice cakes, carrot sticks, gluten-free bread, or corn tortilla chips. Choose to have your hummus topped with whole cherry tomatoes with chopped baby cucumbers, red peppers ('Vegetable Salad'), or guacamole, chicken, mushrooms, or chunky beef. There are also offer half a dozen or so salad options including tabouleh, Greek salad and smoky barbecued aubergine.

Depending on what you choose to have your hummus topped with, prices range from £3.50 (small size – basic hummus served with a pinch of cumin) to £8.15 (large size served with chicken).

It's highly unlikely you'll have room for desert afterwards but if you're up for it, Hummus Bros a few different options including Baklava (a rich pastry filled with chopped nuts & soaked in hone) or a home-made chocolate brownie.

Ideal for lunch or a quick sit-and-run dinner (incidentally, they don't sell alcohol), Hummus Bros is a small, brightly lit space that's clean and modern with communal tables similar to that of Wagamama. If you're lucky, you might be able to grab a spot on the bench along the window and watch the Soho foot traffic whiz by.

And in case this doesn't cure your hummus fix, Hummus Bros also sell their hummus by the tub to take home.
