I think it is human nature to love music. The sounds and rhythms incite so many emotions in us. Music is a comfort; it can energise and calm us both at the same time.
So what better name can a band choose to reinvent itself than Human Nature? Originally called 4 Trax, the do-wop group from Sydney Australia formed in 1989. They changed their name to Human Nature after signing up with Sony Music, who helped them release their debut album in 1996.
Since then, Human Nature has had five hits in the Australian Top Ten, four of which went platinum. But it isn't only Australia that they are making it big. When Human Nature started releasing Motown covers, they started garnering attention from none other than American R&B artist, Smokey Robinson. This association saw them break into US, for which they are currently on tour.
Once finished in America Smokey Robinson will present
Human Nature: The Motown Show here in the UK, where they will perform at the Eventim Apollo on the 23rd November.
Tickets are between £40.75 - £56.25; it will be their first solo performance in London to celebrate the band's twenty-fifth anniversary.
