The bears are back in town
For teddy bear enthusiasts it is a time to celebrate because Hugglets is returning to Kensington Town Hall. The last proper festival held by Hugglets was in February 2020, but due to Covid-19, the last three events have either been cancelled entirely or been adapted to an online format.
Now with restrictions coming to an end, Hugglets is holding its first Spring BearFest. Usually, the winter festival is held in February, but to reduce the risk of any further Covid disruptions, it has been moved back to 3rd April.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for £7.06 and the festival will be open to the general public from 11:30 am.
Alternatively, you can become a member of the Hugglets Club for £12 (£20 international). Being a club member gives you free entrance to all Hugglets festivals, including free entrance for one guest if they are a member of the same household. Members will also be allowed early entrance at 10:30 am and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win gift vouchers. As well as this, members will receive the annual Hugglets Teddy Bear Guide, special discount offers, and access to the Hugglets closed members-only Facebook group.
To ensure that Hugglets Spring BearFest is as safe and enjoyable as possible, a few changes have been made to its regular format. Safety measures being taken include:
1. Fewer exhibitors so there is more space 2. A one-way system through the halls 3. Entrance only permitted to those who have been vaccinated 4. Mask wearing (unless exempt)
These measures are subject to change, and they recommend checking back on their Covid Policy in March.
