Nestled just a 15 minutes walk away from Its corporate centre of Canary Wharf in East London lies Hubbub, a quirky cafe bar serving fresh food, coffee and alcoholic drinks daily.

This quirky and small cafe offers a lovely warm heartfelt service from all of its bar and waiting staff. With an authentic look, think exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and board games available to play, this cafe turned bar at night has everything for its customers.

Its menu, a delicate range of light lunches, brunch choices and burgers are extremely well priced. Their 'Mighty Breakfast' which includes the full works of an English one, is only £9, and freshly made burgers with a side for as little as £10.30.

Housed in the eaves of a former Victorian chapel, you can imagine this place oozes character, constructed around 1859.

One great thing about Hubbub is their daily deals which make your bill even cheaper! Students receive a 15% discount on all food and drink (excludes alcohol).

What's more, they have a 33.3% off deal which applies between 4-6pm on weekdays- making a pint cost as little as under £3, yes £3. Their menu adapts to all new trends of 2017 including poached egg and avocado on sourdough, which costs just £6.60 (or £5.61 for students). They even have a 'build your own breakfast' option where you literally choose your dish, so no excuses for fussy eaters!



During my several experiences at Hubbub, the food has always been freshly prepared used with finest ingredients, a luxury which in my opinion doesn't reflect its price at all. Staff are extremely attentive and very well mannered to new customers as well as locals who appear to live in the surrounding area. The location is Isle of Dogs in E14, so just south of Canary Wharf- a great walk if you're wanting to wander off into its outskirts.
