Taking place from 26th-28th January 2018, the National Track Championships will take place in Manchester. This exciting event will see new cyclists take on professional riders for the chance to get one of the iconic red, white and blue British team jerseys. It is one of the only places you can see emerging sports stars compete against seasoned pros. The National Championship sees the riders competing, not only for the team coloured jerseys, but for the coveted prize of being the National Champion. This is a highly sort out prize for sports stars and Manchester is lucky to be hosting one of the biggest events in the cycling calendar.
With tickets costing adults from £7 for a standard ticket, this is a cheap event to attend. Under 16's tickets cost only £5 and there is also the option for family and premium tickets. The event sees a variety of competitions taking place from women's and men's sprint, Para-cycling and races with semi-finals and final races taking place. The jam-packed schedule is perfect for lovers of cycling - this will be one weekend event you will not want to miss out on.
This is not only a cheap day out but an incredible sporting event which the whole family will enjoy. Please note security checks will take place before entry and you need to retain your ticket if you want to leave the venue and come back during the event.
There will be spectator parking available at the Etihad Stadium, alternatively the venue is easily accessible by public transport in the area such as the Metrolink which stops at the dedicated tram stop the Velopark.
