The countryside had always featured the hop, skip, and jump of bunnies; it has always produced the hops, wheat, and oats of nutritious grains. But between the 4th - 6th of July, the Kentish countryside will also feature another kind of hop; one that produces marvellous music to contend with the birds.

The Hop Farm Festival returns to Paddock Wood for a seventh year running. As always, there is a stellar line-up, which includes music artists such as songwriter, James Blunt, R&B singer, Billy Ocean, Liverpudlian rock band, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Strictly Come Dancing contender, Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Aside from performances on the main stage, this year will see several new features, including a Jazz & Blues Lounge, Comedy Tent, Big Top, vintage fairground, silent disco, bandstands, and a Kids Zone. There will also be a Rising Talent Stage for new music acts.

There are various tickets to choose from, depending on whether you want to go for just one day, or the whole weekend. Camper vans are available to hire, and children 12 and under go free.
