Hear the best of Nashville with queen of country hits
The combined sounds of the 'queens of country' will be helping to ditch the winter blues with a dynamic new show at Tamworth in Staffordshire. Honky Tonk Angels, which comes to the newly reopened Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Friday 31 January, is a celebration of the music of the legendary female country singers, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. With a blessing from Georgette Jones, the daughter of Tammy Wynette and George Jones, Clive John Productions presents a classic night of country music at its very finest. The award-winning performers taking on the music of the four female legends will be backed by a leading five-piece band playing traditional instruments.
