The influx of gourmet burger restaurants is not a trend that will be disappearing anytime soon. One such addition that is taking the locals at Camden by storm is Honest Burgers, situated in Camden Lock.

The juicy burger joint prides itself on fresh produce from its vegetables through to its key ingredient; meat. From the moment you enter Honest Burgers, you know you have come to a venue that is raw and real. The menu provides a minimalist offering, but one of purity and good burger knowledge.

All burgers are cooked medium, thus highlighting the eateries pride in their patty and the chefs are precise and quick with their cooking, which is a bonus (means your meal is hot, fresh and full of flavour). Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, they add a side of rosemary salted crunchy chips. Bliss.

I ordered the beef burger with red onion relish and mature cheddar. What a mouthwatering winner this was. The burger literally melts in your mouth and has you craving more. For those of you who are after a bit of spice you can always add in a dashing of Tabasco which I highly recommend.

As I worked through the burger and fries in a steady pace I noticed plates emptying around me, always a sign of satisfaction from any patron.

Honest burgers are good, wholesome burgers that are made with fresh ingredients that will have you satisfied. For those burger connoisseurs out there, I recommend you add this one to your Holy Grail.
