The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens are located in Romsey, about 10 miles outside of town. The gardens are open year-round offering opportunities to view interesting plants and flowers and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Throughout the Easter school holidays the Hillier Gardens have various events for children of all ages. From Easter trails that explore the garden, to pond dipping and bushcraft cooking. The activities are fun and educational and give children interesting ways to interact with nature.

The Gardens feature a regular trail throughout the year, each with a different theme to suit the season. For the Easter school holidays children will pick up their map and follow clues left by the Easter Bunny. The family trails are a great way to explore the gardens with a little bit of guidance. The Outdoor Learning Company will be running their popular Outdoor Adventure Holiday Club for four days throughout the Easter break. The club is based around the philosophies of Forest school, and children will get to experience a range of different outdoor skills and activities. Sessions might include campfire cooking, bushcraft tools, and den building. There's also plenty of time to just enjoy the outdoors running around, tree climbing and exploring.
